Yes the low pressure is a matter of hose clamps, the high pressure will have to be purchased or made. The just screw on, all you have to do is drain the power steering and remove old line and replace them with the new. Fill back up the power steering and check to make sure nothing is leaking. hope this helps Tim

Changed the rack in a 99 taurus but its fine then when you turn the car off fluid blows out the top of powr steeering pump

HI there it's must likely that you have too much fluid in and or there is air in the system.
to fix problem drain power steering sys by disconnecting one of the hoses at the pump
and saving the fluid to reuse.
ones system is drained reconnect hose and fill 1/4 of the tank .
start engine and turn steering wheel all the way too the left&right three times each.by doing these
you are removing air from the system
now with engine running and steering wheel at center check fluid level and fill to the mark
on the stick .

good luck

Leaking powre steering fluid &popping on sharp turns

Sounds like you have a bad ps pump from your description. You need to visually check for leaks on the ps pump, around cap, and from both pressure hoses from ps pump to find the cause.

Power steering fluid leaking and turning is hard need to know how to change pump and hose need to know how to change it myself

First check the hoses located at the back of the pump. They are the most likely culprit.
If the fluid is leaking from the hose, purchase a replacement from a local dealer or repuitable auto parts supply.

If it is not the hose and the pump needs to be replaced, first I would suggest buying a Chilton manual either on-line or from an auto parts store and follow the detailed proceedure in replacing the pump.

This should require open end wrenches and take an hour or so.
