Pull out on bottom and carefully wiggle/lift up. There are metal slotted tabs at top, and plastic ears on the top of seat back, that break easily.
My plastic ears have broken off the seat back leaving the entire panel (wires, hoses and etc.) exposed. Can I fix this if the ears have already broken or do I have to buy another back?
Thanks,
Sweetnae68
I broke one ear off my wifes, and didn't think expoxy would hold it, so I just have one left on top.
I hate to think of buying one at the dealer, and don't know if there avail.
The car is fairly new yet not made after 2006. I don't know if any got totaled yet and if you get a used panel if you would have to paint it. Most are black I think.
I had the same problem. I drilled a hole into the back of each seat up at the top and inserted 3 inch anchor screw into a metal frame in the seat. Tightened up and painted the screw black. Works like a charm
