Loosen 7mm bolt retaining wiring harness connector to ign. module remove the three nuts on underside of ignition module to the bracket i think they are 12 to 13 mm let it in the bracket for now, next remove the bolts holding the coil packs to the ignition module leaving the plug wires attached so as not to get messed up..remove the coilpack from the module and your ready to reinstall in reverse order Good Luck.....

My Buick Lasabre want start the scerity light stays on

Assuming the light is not flashing, you probably have a bad decoder module and that will require a new, unused module to resolve it.If it's flashing it could be a key or key sensor issue.

I have a 1995 buick lasabre it starts then cuts off whats the problem

A failing crank sensor can do this a failing CAM sensor can do this or even the ICM (ignition control module where the coil sits at).If you want to fix this the best tool is a labscope. But if you want to do the most likely problem and go from there do the ICM (ignition control module)

KNOCK SENSOR

When a knock is detected, it sends this information to the computor, in which retards the ignition timing. If the sensor is bad, it will do this more often than not.

1997 buick lasabre custom high idle, transmission, stalling

Try cleaning your grounds under the hood: under Ignition Module bracket, rf fender behind battery and lf fender in front of windshield washer fluid bottle.
I had similar problem and this fixed it.....grounds are very important for computer.
I used a carbon conductive grease on the connections to keep them from oxidizing.
Hope this helps you out.
