When Looking At The Front Of The Vehicle, The Oil Filter Is Under The Right Side Of The Intake Manifold (Located Just Above The Bell Housing). In Order To Change It, You Will Need A 36mm ECOTEC Filter Wrench (Its A Really Shallow Socket) A Swivel, 12" Extension & Ratchet. The Thing You Are Removing Is The Black Cap. Rotate It Until It Can Be Removed By Hand & Lift Out. When Installing The New Filter, Make Sure The Little o-ring Came w/ The Old Filter & Drop The Filter & Cap Straight Down Into The Block --HAND TIGHTEN-- Until The Factory O-ring (Its Reusable) Contacts The Block & Finish Tightening w/ The Socket - Just Needs To Be Snug, Dont Stupid Tighten It or It Will Break.
My Appologies, The Socket Is A 32mm ECOTEC Style, Not 36mm. Here Is A Link To The Socket.

Once On The Snap-On Page, Search 'A106' In The Snap-On Parts Fiels, It Should Come Up As The GM ECOTEC Oil Filter Socket.. I Dont Know Why The Previous Posted Links Did not Take Correctly.
