My aux inport won't work on 2006 Land Rover LR3. Would this be something effected by a bad fuse?

Sorry, after reviewing your owners manual I believe you were referring to the 12 volt aux power port rather than aux input to the radio. Indeed this port will have a fuse separate from the radio. Page 244 of the manual refers to fuse 34 as running the accessory socket--this may be the one to check. The fusebox itself is behind the glovebox. You have to open the box and then squeeze the stays and pull it past the normal stops to get behind to the fusebox.
