I have that problem as well and so do others
SPEEDOMETER SETTLEMENT NOTICE
The court granted approval of the settlement and entered judgment on
November 7, 2008. However, two separate appeals have been filed which seek to challenge the court's approval of the settlement. The settlement will not become effective unless and until all such challenges have been resolved and the judgment has been upheld.
Please check back to this site or call our toll-free number
(866) 514-0405 after
January 19, 2009, to determine the status of the appeals and whether the settlement has become effective.
The problem may be the Electrical - Powertrain control - Vehicle speed sensor, which is easy to replace but why should you have to pay for it if that is the problem. A GMC mechanic inform me that water is he main cause for its failure.
There are others who have call a GMC Service Rep to have it fix, which i will try first.
