Take your registration,with the VIN,and your license to a local dealership.They can cut your key based on the VIN.The rest is just to prove ownership.

I'm assuming it's a new key as well. The key has an electronic immobiliser code built into it. This tells the car it's the correct key. The car doesn't recognise the new lock cylinder and key so the car will never start. You'll have to get a good auto electrician to re-program the immobiliser to match the replacement parts.
sounds like you need to try jumping it, you lost voltage and the btsi solenoind is probably locking you out of putting it into park and being able to turn the key back
there are ways to start the car whichout the key you would have to get into the steerting column to get access to the cables for the starting circuit. The main problem with this is your steering lock is not deactivated and could cause the steering wheel to jam.
best would be to use a tool to remove the key element and you can start the car without it. or you will have to speak to a specialist to get a new key for your car.
Cheapest alternative to purchase a "new" remote key fob is on eBay. Search for "remote key fob, 2004 Trailblazer". Check and/or inquire about programing instructions.

There is a small 1/4'' oblong cover plate on the underside of the stearing column. Pop this out and there is a button you push in ( like the Crysler key relase) and this will allow you to remove the key.
