You may have a bad key chip, try a diffrent key in the ignition, also make sure you do not have magnet strip mini swipe cards on key chain near the ignition. this sounds like the immoboilizer system is active. this system will not allow the coils to spark.
The key would be the first thing to check. do this by using another key.if car still will not start then the key reader may be bad, this is located around the ignition . the last problem could be the module or a broken wire. The best way to check this would be with a scan tool. there will be codes stored in the anti or body module. the codes will tell you where the failure is and with some testing the problem can be found. the scan tool can help by reading the values and readings. it can tell you if the key chip is read and if the module accepts it. i think if the spare key does not start the car then it will be cheaper to have a shop diagnose the problem. this will help you from just putting parts in. also this anti theft system needs programing when certain parts are replaced.
hope this is helpful, good day

Check oil, security tamper systems, May be a security code messed up because of battery disconnect or fuse movement.

My engine has locked and wont start plz could you give me any advise

sure lynne
what engine, there are 7 swift engines.
locked, does that mean you spun engine by hand, ? nah....

ahh, the immobilizer. is set. the suzuki some have that.
and that means it will crank ok, but will not start.
the anti-theft IMMO cuts fuel so thieves cant steal it.

the operators manual is clear on this, lost it?

did you try both keys yet, car came with 2, try both.
if both fail check fuses. next

I have a 96 Suzuki swift and everytime I turn the ignition to on the ignition fuse blows. replaced coil, checked all wiring everything good but don't know what it is...does it everytime

The ignition switch supplies power to many items including the cigarette lighter, dash lights ,instruments, radio. immobilizer, CPU , ABS and traction control. The first one I would check is the lighter as if the coil inside is dirty it may be shorting out .

SOUND LIKE VECHICLE IN THEFT SECURITY MODE CAUSED BY WORN KEY OR IMMOBILIZER READ COIL.PROBLEM IN THE BCM AND ECM.TRY INSTALLING KEY IGNITION SWITCH.TURN SWITCH TO THE ON POSITION FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL THE YELLOW LOCK LIGHT TURN OFF OR DISAPPEAR.THEN TURN OFF IGNITION SWITCH FOR 5 SECONDS, THEN TRY START VECHICLE.IF VECHICLE STILL DONT CRANK.HAVE VECHICLE CODE SCAN FOR THEFT SECURITY FAULT CODES.
