What is the light that looks like an exclamation point in parenthesis on the dash?

Some vehicles use That as a warning light, check to see if a different light cones on for park brake, if so then check levels ie brake fluid or tire pressures and possibly air filter or cabin filter can light that up. Or check your manual

I have a light on my dash with an exclamation point enclosed in what looks like parenthesis with verticle lines underneath. It's yellow. Do you know what it is?

If it looks like a deflating tire with an exclamation mark inside, its the check your tire pressure light.

If its a triangle with exclamation mark inside its the check engine light.

Warning light --Upside down horseshoe with exclamation point

It should be letting you know that you have a tire pressure problem. If you still have the owners manual read it. It will explain what to do, what to look for and how to reset the light if need be.

Orange light with exclamation mark

That symbol is the Low TIre Pressure Warning. It tells you that your tire pressures are low.

2007 Ford Ranger

Hi, I also own a 2007 Ford Ranger. That's the TPMS light. It's telling you the tire pressure is low. Check the tire pressure and if make sure it's where it needs to be (there's a sticker in the door jamb that tells you what the tire pressure should be set to.

Oh, and I found a PDF copy of the 2007 Ranger owners manual here - http://www.fordf150.net/2007/

Your owners manual in the glove compartment should also tell you the general meaning of each light on the dash.
