Allow the engine to cool completely prior to working on the car. Place a drain pan underneath the radiator. Crawl underneath the van and locate the white petcock at the base of the radiator. Loosen it using your hands and allow the coolant to pour out into the pan and then open the radiator cap at the top of the radiator using your hands.

Remove the air intake tubing using the flathead screwdriver and set it to the side. Then mark the perimeter of the hood latch with a paint marker. Unbolt the latch from the upper radiator support using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. When it comes time to reassemble the engine, align the latch with the marks you made with the paint marker to ensure proper alignment with the hood.

Remove the overflow tank hose using a flathead screwdriver. Unbolt the overflow tank from the upper radiator crossmember. Then unplug the electrical fan on the backside of the radiator using your hands. Unbolt the radiator from the upper radiator crossmember using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket, then lift the upper radiator crossmember out of the engine compartment.

Remove the automatic transmission cooler lines from the side of the radiator using a line wrench. Unscrew the hose clamps on the upper and lower radiator hoses using the flathead screwdriver, then pull the hoses off of the radiator and tilt them down toward the drain pan. Unbolt the air conditioning condenser from the front of the radiator using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket, as well as the air conditioning filter/dryer. Then lift the radiator out of the engine bay, tilting it slightly toward the engine and making sure you don't bump it into anything.

SOURCE: Can't remove water pump from 2007 Dodge Grand -

you must undo the three pully bolts turn the pully so it slips behind the mounting flange , then you should be able to wiggle it out , if it still hangs on frame you a long pry bar and push between frame and crankshaft bolt just hard enough to move engine slightly, this will definitly work and repeat to install. PS use a little RTV silicon to hold seal on new pump.

SOURCE: location of radiator fan relay 1999 dodge grand

the relay is on the drivers side just below the headlight. you have to jack the car up to see it. it's bolted to the body with 2 8mm bolts. that is you have to use 8mm socket. It's black and about two inches square. It's a little hard to see but it is there. hope this helps leave comment.

Change temperature sensor for 2001 dodge grand caravan

Sensor is at about the 1;00 o'clock position where the top radiator hose connects to the thermostat housing. Squeeze the wire connector to release it. You will need a ratchet with 6" extension and a 19MM deep well socket LOL it's not easy.

How do you replace 2001 dodge caravan heater switch?

To replace a thermostat in a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, look at the engine. Should be located at the engine end of the upper radiator hose in removable housing. Drain about 1 gallon of coolant from radiator Remove housing - make note how thermostat is installed Clean both surfaces Install new thermostat and gasket Re-fill coolant slowly to prevent an "air lock" Start engine check for leaks Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on Check coolant level.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2001 grand caravan overheating. then suddenly cool

Change your thermostat before it sticks closed completely. Sticky thermostat is usually the cause.
Another possibility is that your radiator fan temperature switch is going bad. This is usually located next to the upper radiator hose at the gooseneck on your engine where the thermostat is located.
