Unlikely to have 2 filters as it will have only one line from the operating tank

SOURCE: remove fuel lines from the fuel filter on a 93 f150 ford truck

There is a special tool used to disconnect the lines from the fuel filter. You should be able to get them at any local automotive shop, i.e., Pepboys, Autozone, Chief Auto. It should be relatively cheap to buy this tool.

SOURCE: fuel swith depressed not poping back up

Try jumping the switch 96 is directly related to the fuel pump power.

Use a jumper lead in the connector to see if it will run that way...if so ..BAD SWITCH

1991 f150 ford pick up think mite got trash in fuel injection

If you have dual fuel tanks there is usually another fuel filter on the frame under the drivers position under the truck. If this is the problem the truck will hesitate when you press on the gas pedal to pass someone.

Fuel engine stops then start up in 1 min

You probably have an electronic ignition system to go with those fuel injectors. It sounds like it runs just long enough to empty the fuel out of the injectors, which means there might be a vacuum problem. I'm a carburetor person myself. Are you sure it sound like it NEEDS gas or could it be flooding?

The truck is acting like it is starving for gas although i have alrready replaced the in tank fuel pump.

Have you checked to make sure the fuel filter isn't clogged (in fact, check all the filters). Sometimes it's really that simple . . .

Ahhh. you have one of the first verisions of fuel injection... check all your vacuum lines, had a 89 ford f-150 I-6 with a similar problem years back. did everything from change vieciel speed sensor to the oxygen sensor... it was a tiny leak in vacuum line... Good luck!!
