How to reset service reminder nissen primera 04

Found a solution to reset a maintance reminder and spanner light for G10 people mover. May work on a van model.

1) Make sure driver door is opened while perform the reset
2) Press engine start button to ignition but don't start the engine.
3) Press Set/Clr button to get rid of door open warning and service vehicle reminder
4) Turn the scroll switch downward to digital speedo, which is a page before distance to service.
5) Rotate scroll switch to down position 1 more to distance to service page and hold the scroll switch
6) Rapid press Set/Clr button 5 times within 3 seconds.
7}) Distance to service change from 0km to 8000km and spanner light go off instantly.

To reset the service indicator on an Australian 2016 LDV G10 (SAIC G10) turbo diesel.
- Turn the ignition to the "ON" position, but do not start the car.
- Use the left hand trip computer stalk to cycle through to the "Distance to next service" screen.
- Press the set/reset button (on the end of the stalk) rapidly 7 times.
- The reminder will be cleared and the distance to next service will indicate 0000KM (it will count down from 10000KM but it can only display 4 digits, after 1km it will count down to 9999)
Hopefully this helps as I have found very little info on this vehicle.

have a load test done on the battery. check for dirty posts and terminals and loose terminals.

Should be equipped with a Switch to do it, if you didn't find this switch, you should consult Authorized Service Center or Nissan Helpline.

I can help you reset the service reminder for your 2003 Nissan Primera, but I need to know what the engine size is

try turning ignition to accesories and hold down trip meter reset button for ten seconds this works on some makes of cars.

Where is the cam/ crank positioning sensor situated on the nissen terrano 2.7 diesel .?

the chain could be worn - check it before you suspect anything else... dont go off the mileage - lots of things can make a chain or belt wear prematurely, have it checked to be on the safe side.

Try cleaning the area around the timing chain of all grime and oil, and re-oil the timing chain with the reccomended lubricant.
