Throwing code P1750, checked the solenoids and they were fine. Tranny was replaced at 90,000 miles, it is at 120,000 miles now. It's hard for it to shift into gears, which is confusing considering that it is usually the gears slip down when the tranny is going out. I need serious help on this!!

When tranny was replaced, were all lines and trans cooler flushed? Was converter replaced? Try flush and refill trans fluid and replace filter.

SOURCE: tranny slips & wont shift past 2nd gear

tranny slips can also mean that you may need to change the tranny filter. But just like cooking oil at first it is thick then you add heat and it gets thinner, same for tranny oil which could also mean that your tranny needs gear and plate work. The easiest way to find out is to insert the oil dip stick, clean it with a paper towel and check to see if you can see metal shivers or if the color of the tranny oil is not red but silverish, these are usually indictative of a tranny that needs an overhaul. hope this helps.

Good Luck =)

I have a Mitsubishi Montero sport 1998 code p1750 need picture of location

Picture of location for what ?
First thing to do with any transmission codes is check the fluid and clear the codes after recording them then redo a test drive cycle

A P1750 can be anything from a wiring short or a bad TCM

It could be the converter clutch solenoid, shift control solenoid, pressure control solenoid or engine control module has failed.

If the code comes back then you will have to check the wiring harness to the transmission and test the solenoid pack and see if they are malfunctioning ! Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

Transmission slipping... no check engine light on... miles under 90,000

If it told you to check the transmission, there's a code stored. But chances are it's an enhanced code or a U, C or B code that your code reader can't read. A professional scan tool is needed to read those codes. The computer never posts a message without setting a code. NEVER.

Toyota code p1750

Code P1750 on your Toyota denotes a problem in the Hydraulic Control System of A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid due to a brake ECU malfunction. The signal is sent to the ECCM by the brake actuator assembly, aka skid control ECU for three seconds to display the code.

2000 blazer shifts fine 1-3 gears , wont go into overdrive, shows check engine light trouble code po0753 shift solenoid a , any help

OK, let me remember..........the code 753 means the solenoid INSIDE the tranny pan is bad. You don't have 1st or 4th gear, is what I was told, however, you probably WON'T even notice. I didn't. If you are at a stop, and get on it hard, you should be able to tell. If you drive normal, like me, and just accelerate gradually, you would not be able to tell that the truck is not hitting the 1st and 4th gear. You may not recognize a problem, just the check engine light. Your going to have to drop the tranny pan, replace the solenoid, and reinstall the fluid and the pan. The hardest part is, upon dropping the pan, if you don't know what you are doing, you can damage the other solenoids, and if you don't damage any, you may still have a hard time realizing which solenoid is the right one. It would take 1hour at, plus tranny pan gasket and fluid, etc., etc., for a total of about $120. Most transmission shop charge $100 for a transmission oil and filter service. The solenoid was about $20. It is not hard to replace, just unclip the wire harness and solenoid which will be an extra 5 min to the service time.

Have a transmission code P1750 on 1998 Mitsi Ecplise Spyder GS . I had the transmission rebuilt about a year ago,the check engine light came on and I had it diagnosed .The mechanic checked it out and said...

p1750 is a Manufacturer Control Transmission. i work at advance auto parts and we get these codes in from time to time. what i tell people is alot of times it is infact your solenoid box assemble is going. what that does is to tell your transmission when to shift into gears. im assuming your car is having a hard time shifting gears. to replace that part your looking to spend about 200 to 500 with parts and labor. unless you want to do the job yourself. than if im right it should run you between 150 to 200 for the part.

My 2002 honda has a transmission problem went to autozone to check on there computer it came up with p1750 code thought it was low fluid but i added fluid and it did not help the check eng light is still...

If I am not mistaken isn't that a shift solenoid code. If it is a shift solenoid code you will need to service the tranny and have it replaced. You can also check and see it there are any service bulletins or recalls on the tranny system through your local dealer.

Tranny does not shift out of O/D and starting out in 2nd gear.

Same situation, Solenoids in the Transmission were throwing the codes, Lost O/D and had transmission replaced. No signs of problems after check engine light came on for close to 1000 miles later.

My ransmission on my 2004 chevy monte carlo shifts hard

Hook that diagnostic computer to the car. If the cod reads P1810 then u need a Pressure Control Solenoid. Your check engine light will not come on with this code. The mechanic will have to drop the transmission to install the solenoid. Have a 2000 pontiac bonneville that had the same problem and ever since I did the solenoid change I have had no other problems.
