I have a 2002 nissan sentra, the dipstick handle is broken, the dipstick is somewhat stuck inside the dipstick tube. how do i get it out, tried many ways to get it out but no luck.

Hopefully, you still have the top part that is broken, take double sided tape and try that, if not the get a mechicanal finger and use that. Good Luck Tim

There have been issues with dipstick handles breaking off and dipstick stuck in tube. Here is a simple way to remove that broken dipstick. On the valve cover there is a hose that leads to the intake tube. Remove this hose and with a blow nozzle blow compressed air into the valve cover. The broken dipstick will shoot out of the tube. Simply install the new dipstick into the tube.
Many dipstick holders are bolted to the engine...removing this bolt and the dipstick tube should also retrieve the dipstick...you may need a new tube, as well as dipstick...Hope this helps.
It's only 2 bolts to detach dipstick tube from block and if it doesn't pull the broken piece out when u remove tube u should see the piece sticking out of block to pull it out by hand!!!

SOMETIMES A SMALL POWERFUL MAGNET CAN BE USED TO EXTRACT THE STICK BUT REMOVAL OF THE OIL PAN IS ONE METHOD THAT ASSURES ALL REMNANTS OF THE DIPSTICK ARE REMOVED FROM THE OIL PAN.
