2oo2 325i dashboard liht came on it is yellow circle around a triangle and something in the middle of triangle i cant see, what is this light for?

Yellow circle, with triangle and exclamation mark – The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) dashboard light flashes if the ESP or traction control is activated whilst driving. If ESP or traction control has been switched off, it will light up continuously. If ESP or traction control is not turned off and the warning light illuminates continuously, it indicates a problem and malfunction with either ESP or traction control.

I recently purchased a 2005 Z4 (76,000 miles), and I just experienced the same thing (beep, then yellow Brake and Triangle Light (w/exclamation point/semicircle appears on dashboard). It is intermittent. Did you ever find a solution?

The "Check Engine Light" could be something major, or something as minor as a loose
gasoline filler cap. The only way to know is to find someone who can attach an OBD-II code reader
to your car's ODB-II computer port and talk to your car's on-board computer,and ask it what it thinks
is wrong.
Also, the "Yellow light with the triangle that has an exclamation mark in the middle and a circle going around" could be the SES light (Service Engine Soon), which could mean that everything is fine with the car, except the SES light needed to be reset at the 3400Km oil change, but it wasn't.
In the U.S., Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts are national parts store chains that will read the ODB-II codes setting your "Check Engine" light free - don't know who will do this free in Canada/U.K., though.

Automatic Stability Control is malfunctioning if this warning light does not go off after you start the car. Most likely an issue with a sensor in the wheel.

you have a brake fault

If the triangle has an ! in the middle of it then it's to indicate that DSC or DTC is on for stability.

Check your owners manual, But I belive it is telling you the brakes need work. probly pads.

That should be your handbrake light
