I checked the manual for 'CHECK ENGINE ZONE' and could find no reference to this for the 2003 Expedition.

There is a Service Engine Soon light though.

I looked all over the manual and could find no instrument cluster light to that effect.

Can you tell me what page refers to this?

My engine light is on.

Hi,

The check engine light comes on mostly when you have bad gas tank cup,or you don't tight enough the gasoline.Go to any auto-zone and request the obd scanner,at no charge just leave your driver license or credit card, connect the scanner follow the instructions. They will check up and the check engine light will come off in the next 3 to 5 days.

Thank you !!

Friend borrowed vehicle and put low grade gas in it. check engine light illuminated and started flashing, checked handbook which stated that problem was due to low grade gasoline. is there any type of...

The code may go away by itself after a few restarts. You can also try clearing the code by taking the vehicle Auto Zone, Advance Auto or another chain parts place and using their loaner scanner to complete the task.

Gas

Best way to check is by looking at the gas cap. If it does not say "Premium fuel only" you should be safe. Higher octane rated fuel is used for higher compression motors, and I dont belive that your engine (my guess is the 5.4 V8 should be around 9:1 compression) needs the high octane.

Engine stall no fuel want to check relay and wiring for fuel pump ford pick up 2003 v8

good luck on checking the relay.. its made permantely to the fuse box. Meaning ya cant pull it out or replace it. best thing to do is check power at the pump itself.. if ya got power there.. then the relay is working. also get a fuell pressure check off the fuel rail.. should be anywhere from 55-60 psi..
