Was there a recall regarding antilock brakes on 1999 CHEV S10 pick ups? They engage on slick rain pavement, slight bumps or grooves in roadway, and of course snow/ice. I heard certain GM or Chev products...

Call your local dealer service department with the VIN of your vehicle and they should tell you if there is a open recall on your vehicle. It is in the dealers best interest to tell you about recalls.

Changing wiper motor in chev s10

It's not bad. They make a special tool to remove the motor from the arm assembly, but with a little determination I was able to remove it with out the tool. If your wipers aren't working try running power to the motor first to test it. I swapped it out and the problem ended up being a bad ground in the switch. I bypassed that for a little while by running a jumper wire from the engine block to motor. It also could be the pulse module they are known for going bad in GM vehicles.

1999 tahoe 350 engine 5.7 v8 fuel filter

This deffinently sounds like your ignition module, it is located on the side of the distributor generally hald on by two screws. This is a very common thing with Chevy / GMC. Good luck and remember to rate all the solutions that you get, thanx.
