Pull the drivers side door panel and find the wires going to the outer door handle lock cylinder. Cut them off and strip them back and solder or crimp connector them together.

How do you open the back door (no manual)

Rear hatch is locked or unlocked with a key. (if equipped) • To open the rear hatch, insert the key into the lock, turn it to the unlock position and pull up the rear hatch by pressing the handle (DOOR). You can also lock/unlock the latch (but not release it) with the central door lock system. • If unlocked, the rear hatch can be opened by pressing the handle (DOOR) and pulling the hatch up. • To close the rear hatch, lower and push down the rear hatch firmly. Make sure that the rear hatch is securely latched.

The driver's door to my Prius will only unlock with the key, or pressing the rocker button from inside the car. All other doors and rear hatch unlock with key FOB.

change that master switch, if the passenger door lock can lock all doors except the driver door its a problem with that make sure the wire harness is plug in properly and before you change it get some electrical spray and spray the socket and the plug and try it again sometime by simply removing it and replace it solve the problem ok let me know if it work but am kind a sure it will

So far, what I have tried hasn't worked. Guess I will have to take off door panel. But which door? Driver side door locks and unlocks with remote, with key and with inside door switch. Passenger door...

Since the driver's door gets the most use, and all circuits run through the master switch, check driver's door first and check the wiring at the hinge area for breaks.

I have a 2001 dodge durango, had to replace ignition cylinder last year, ran fine but now security light stays on and the car starts and shuts off the key cylinder was from O'Reilly and it wasn't for anti...

Shut the hood, make sure the back hatch is shut tight. Lock all the doors. Walk around and make sure they locked. Open the drivers door with the key. This should clear the security. If not lock it again and try the passenger side door. Reach in and unlock the drivers door. If it cleared then. Replace the drivers door latch on the back side. Inside the door.

Just bought a used 2007 pacifica. The remote key wont lock or unlock all the passenger doors. It works on the drivers door and the rear hatch. Is there any way this is a fuse or relay problem?

The passenger door locks are controlled through the passenger door module. Power to the module is supplied by 20 amp fuse #46 in the IPM (integrated power module) under the hood. Make sure the fuse is not blown.

All doors will not unlock

Try replacing the ECC fuse on the drivers side fuse panel. This seems to control quite a bit of the rear electronics.

Driver and Passenger auto door locks are inop.

Sounds like bad wiring, or bad door lock actuators. Check for power while locking/unlocking the doors.

"security' sign on dash...cannot start my car

I have had problems with this as well, and unlocking the driver door made it worse by setting the alarm off. I found out that unlocking the rear hatch with your key will disarm the security system all together
