Sometimes you hear the clicking and every once in a while you will see the green arrow flash, but more often than not the signals do not display. I have checked the exterior lights and they are blinking.Sometimes you hear the clicking and every once in a while you will see the green arrow flash, but more often than not the signals do not display. Dealers are expensive place to get parts, so be ready for that with your Volvo XC 90 2004. Try a local salvage yard, ebay, or some other web site to get a replacement part. Otherwise, expect about $100 to fix a broken taillight.
For Volvo Xc-90 2005, same problem with only one headrest dvd working. Start playing a dvd in the working headrest, point the remote at the non working headrest, press media button. This should switch the input back from auxillary to dvd. Tell your kids to never press the media button:)
Likely a brake or turn signal light is burnt out and needs to be replaced. Turn on your hazard lights and step on the brakes and have someone walk around the car until you find the burnt lightbulb and replace.
