Are you saying that after changing the chain is it doing this? If so, you probably have the crankshaft 180 degrees out of sync with the cam. If not, the chain tensioner may have broken and the chain jumped time.
there are many things that can cause this, fuel pump or filter, fueses, or even your key. your key has a transponder in it that lets the blazer know you have the right key and not just some screw driver. if you have too much stuff on your key chain it will interefere with this, or if you had to have new keys made. check with your local chevy dealer if you have a concern of this or need to prgram a new key
the timing spec is 0degrees at idle, also heres adiagram for timing chain, check oil preasure switch connection and wiring to control module.hope this helps.
Chevy blazers dont have timing belts they have chains. The chains get noisey on some engines that are run hard or the oil changes are missed. Sometimes these engines live their whole life if not run too hard without changing the chain. Noise lower gas mileage uneven idel hesate to accerate. These are all things that happen over 100 thou miles. Many go way farther with no problems
if it does not start after you check your distributor cap that means you took the car out of timing, when you put the distributor cap back on you did not put it is the correct position, now you need a mechanic to get the timing of the engine
