Sometimes this is caused b a bad relay/fuse (does your vehicle have a relay/fuse per window or 1 for the front 2 windows and another for the back windows))

did you accadently leave the window lock on (this is a butten thats usually above the 4 window switches try pushing that butten)

give these a try good luck i hope this helped

Why does my break pedal leak air?

You have a bad seal in your break booster unit,, just behind your master break cylinder is a big roung doughnut looking thing, this unit works off vacume from the engine, it helps you push down on the break peddle so its not so tuff to stop! well on that booster unit there is a seal that keeps the unit from loosing vacume past the rod leading into your break peddle, sounds like this seal is leaking vacume .. you can replace this unit your self if you want to tackle it, its going to be some work to replace and you should probley have the manual on this truck to do the work.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I have a 2004 mercury mountaineer the windows will not roll up or roll down, and the radio does not work is it a fuse?

A bad fuse is Highly possible the cause. The mountaineer has a Main fuse box under the hood that contains Master fuses that control multiole items with one fuse. There is also a smaller fuse panel under the dash conatining fuses for various items throughout the vehicle.

2004 Mercury Mountaineer Power windows are not working. What could be the problem? The owners manual shows a large 30amp circuit breaker located under the hood. Could this be the problem?

they can go bad-swap it out with another that you don't need, just to try and see if it is the relay-listed are relays that might only control, for instance, the rear window defroster-generally, relays are all the same, some just get used heavily and some don't (i.e., ABS)-worth a try

2004 VW Beetle Convertible. Drivers door window could not go down yesterday because of ice. The window still works but it does not perform it's drop down and going up as it should when door is opened and...

can you hear the motor trying to work the window? A fairly common problem is the window regulator breaks. this is the cable operated lifting mechanism that raises the window, when it breaks you can hear the motor winding away, accompanied by a faint clunking noise as the motor tries to operate the mechanism. They are quite difficult to replace.
if you cannot hear the motor working (also assuming all your other windows do work) then either to motor is faulty or there is no power to the motor. the wiring inside the rubber boot that goes from the car to the door (by the door hinges) is prone to breaking due to the constant flexing back and fourth as the door is opened and closed. switches can also fail, you may be able to swap the drivers/passengers switches around if they are identical for testing.

you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. Then pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything.
