Get a long screwdriver and try to release the secondary latch that way. Or if you have small hands reach up under the hood and pull the secondary latch toward the left.

try going back to were the cable is inside your car get needle nose pliers or a set of locking pliers and pull on the cable if not you will have to get under the car and release the hood from the locking mechanism

You can try to get to the hood latch from under the front of the car. It won't be easy but with something long you may be able to pop the latch.

I have a similar problem with my 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The way I open the hood is to reach my hand between the radiator and the front of the car, and for me there is a bar running right up the middle if I follew that too the top, and on the drivers side of that bar should be the hood release, and I feel around till I feel the hood release cable, and then I push on the lever that the cable is attached too, most of the time this works.
