You can buy a can of freshner for automotive use at a supply shop, you spray it into the air intake under the hood and it works for a good six months

It is most likely your evaporator that is molded out. Or your cabin air filter that needs to be cleaned

The cab in my 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 smells, does it, or does it not have a cabin air filter? I see conflicts all over the web, but major parts stores are willing to sell me one...

The smell is not from the cabin air filter, it is mold and mildew that is growing in the ducting and AC evaporator core, it needs to be treated with special chemicals to kill the mold and mildew, contact your local dealer or an AC repair center near you. Your vehicle shows that it DOES NOT have a cabin air filter.

My a/c unit is fully charged but the freon seems to be RUNNING out of the condensation line coming from the firewall??? the a/c blows cold but i think if it keeps RUNNING out the condensation line it will...

i think what your describing is normal operation.the moisture coming out is water from the
a/c doing its job. the duct works can be cleaned with a spray cleaner sold at parts stores
if the smell is bother some.

Is it any ac filter for 1999 suburban

There isnt a seperate filter for the a/c air that comes into the truck. There is a cabin air filter that filters incoming outside air, but that wont really help you especially if your using the recirculate option when your a/c is on.
That being said, I have encountered many customers complaining of a mildew smell when first turning on the air conditioning, and in some extreme cases, burning eyes and scratchy throats. The problem is mildew building up in the a/c ducts, which happens when the duct temp. fluctuates, ie, driving for an hour with the a/c on, then shutting off the truck for a couple of hours. I would recommend getting a can of Frigi-Fresh. Its an aerosol can, and you spray it into the fresh air intake. Thats located in the cowl, just below the windshield wipers. Have the truck running, a/c on high, recirculate off, and just spray it into the cowl. It kills all the mildew, mold and bacteria thats growing in the ductwork, and it smells nice. You can substitute Lysol instead, as its pretty much the same thing. Try that and see if that helps.

Moldy smell coming from air conditioning in Volvo S40 2001

It is a mold smell, you will need to go to an AC shop or the dealer and have the AC ducting disinfected, they have a chemical treatment they can do, costs around $100 at most shops, takes about 1 hour plus the chemical. The chemical they use is similar to TYLEX, so if u have any serious allergies suggest u not do this, use Lysol, spray it into the AC air intake in front of the windshield, the AC needs to be set to outside air and be on high blower, use about 1/2 the can and then shut it down and let it set for an hour, then turn the system on hot and let it run for 10 minutes to evaporate the Lysol from the system, this is not a permanent fix, it will need to be done about once or twice a year, more in humid climates.

Air condition

You may have a low charge of freon, most likely about 10 ounces, as far as the musty smell that is mold from the inside of the AC air box, they make various chemical tratments to cure this issue, but once the smell is there it can be diofficult to kill the mold that causes it.

Dirt blowing out vents and has a bad (musty) odor

If you live in a dusty area it is a good idea to use the recirc button on your a/c control head. This will keep the dust to a minimum.
To get rid of the smell you can take a bottle of air freshener and spray it in the heater box air intake that is located just below the windshield on the right hand side of the van. Do this with the a/c on and blowers on high.
If you use recirc as much as possible the dust should slowly work it way out of the system.
If these fixes don't help the dash will have to be removed and a/c evaporator will have to be cleaned or replaced.
