2004 yukon ac blows hot air on drivers side even if the control on that side is turned down
EASY FIX-- your blend door actuator has a grease drip inside on a sensor. It's a easy fix. I just fixed mine in 20 minutes. See how to here==> http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17741
SOURCE: 2004 Chevy Silverado AC is blowing warm air on passenger side.
You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

You need to replace the drivers side temp actuator that is located on the left side of the HVAC box. It is retained by 3 screws and is fairly easy to replace.

Remove the Positive Battery Terminal, leave the Negative Terminal connected. Wait 30 minutes. Attach the Positive Terminal. Verify temperature settings is around 70 degrees. This procedure has been known to resolve computer settings.

The actuator has gone bad. They can be programed, and reset, but usaly they are bad, and that will only patch the problem for a while.
SOURCE: heat blows out driver vent when ac on
this problem is caused by a defective air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of dadsh in air ducting, it moves the door that diverts air for cold from ac or hot from heater, you must remove the dash to repace it, about a 15 hour job fotr a home mechanic with a factory repair manual, nearly imposs without one.
