I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla. Went for emissions test after replacing the battery and we failed the test. It showed 'Not Ready' because of the new battery.

You must perform an OBD2 drive cycle to make ready for testing.
Toyota Drive Cycle for Setting Smog Check Readiness Monitors
  • Fuel tank at 1/2.
  • Engine cold start idle for 10 minutes.
  • Drive at highway speed 55-60 mph with steady throttle for 16 minutes.
  • Return to idle for three minutes with engine running in park.
  • Drive again at medium speed 40 mph for eight minutes.
  • Return to idle for three minutes.
  • Repeat next day.

I need to know the exact drive cycle for a 2009 Toyota Corolla to reset for Emmissions test?

Drive Pattern
(1 ) Connect the suitable scan tool to the DC3 .
(2 ) Turn the ignition switch to ON .
(3 ) Turn the Scan tool on.
(4 ) Clear DTCs (if set) .
(5 ) Start the engine and warm it up.
(6 ) Drive the vehicle at between 40 mph and 70 mph (6 4 km/h and 113 km/h) for at least 10 minutes .
Monitor Status
Check the Readiness Monitor status displayed on the Scan tool.
If the status does not switch to Complete, extend the driving time.

1998 toyota corolla shakes before 2 rpm, check engine lights up

Not sure what is causing it, but it sounds like you're running on 3 cyllinders. Check plugs, wires, timing . timing belt may have jumped, bad injector, low fuel pressure.
