1998 Buick lesabre loses acceleration power when stopping then going. Acceleration then kicks in. Engine Light says bank 1 too lean. Recently, started up the car, idled really rough (exhaust was rumbling) and then it just shut off. This has happened before, and coolant was leaking into the intake. Had to get intake replaced, new oil, new spark plugs. When I got it towed to garage after it stopped running, Garage said it was starting right up when they started it. They probably think I am crazy because I keep bringing it there and it seems to start up ok every time!
SOURCE: rough idle
fuel filters rarley cause idle problems. i would look at the egr valve or possible vaccume leaks.
SOURCE: P0171 Code (Lean Fuel Bank 1) Engine light on
you nead to check all you vacuum lines for leaks it sounds like you have a vacuum leak or the o2 sensor is going bad on bank 1 **** i still say vacuum leak
SOURCE: rough idle engine shakes
possible IAC (idel air control valve) takes about 30min to change out
SOURCE: What is the towing Capacity?
The standard AND maximum towing capacity on the Custom and the Limited are both the same, rated at 1000lbs.
SOURCE: tightening sequence diagram for a 97 buick lesabre
Bellow is an "example" of the tightening sequence for an intake manifold. The sequence is usually the same for most vehicles, but you should refer to a Haynes/Chilton manual for your specific make and model of vehicle to verify tightening sequence and torque specs.
