According to my parts guide, the fuel pump for your 97 Olds Aurora fits only that and the 97 Buick Riviera's and nothing else. The pump for a 99 Park avenue comes up as a different part number. Hope this helps!

Are you aware that your vehicle has a fuel pump control module ? Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button then the blue link. Scroll down the # 4 diagram . fuel pump electrical circuit .
I don't know but there is a way of checking. Get the part number of the fuel pump in your car. The parts department of the dealer should have it.
2. There will be similar spec cars to yours in 95/96 models in other GM brands (CHEV PONTIAC Buick etc) which will most likely have fitted the same fuel pump with the same part number. So check out the Fuel Pump part numbers of these other GM cars and see if you can get a match and take it from there . There are possibly loads of Chevs running around with the same pump.
I did a part search for you on Car-part.com. There are at least 3 interchanges including the Buick Park Ave, Oldsmobile Aurora, and the Buick Riviera.
