My right passengers side rear quarter back window of my 1998 Toyota Celica GT Convertable I think has a short in it. I have been through many switches and it keeps shorting out meaning it will go down but wont connect to go back up. sometimes I can wiggle it around enough to get it to catch and go up but it wont even do that anymore. Recently something has been draining all my batteries I put in my celica and a mechanic suggested it might be a short from that window running down my batttery and suggested for me to disconnect it. Can you tell me where to disconnect the fuse for this rear quarter window? Thank You!

Are you hearing any noises from the pass door when you activate the lock switch? If not, the power door lock solenoid has failed, and prob needs to be replaced. Pull the door panel & check to see if it is getting power to the solenoid in lock & unlock. If it has power, the solenoid is def bad.

Bad headlight switch or relay, or shorted wire. I would check the relay first.

There is a knob beside the headlights under the hood, fairly good sized, looks like rubber and you can manually turn down your headlights. That happened to my 86 Supra last year and the sync was just off and once I turned them down they started working perfectly. Hope this helps

i would suggest getting a replacement e/w motor from the breakers yard and swithing it over. much cheaper then paying for a diagnostic!! its not a big job and shouldt cost much. id def use breakers for new motors as toyota charge a massive price for everything!!!!

its deffently your fuel pump, if its the chip that regulates fuel you can disconnect the blue wire from the fuel pump and ground it to the car.. but more then likely you just need a new fuel pump
