My winshield wipers will not shut off on a 2002 corvette , any thoughts?

either the start stop relay is goosed or the wiper censor has gone also could be the controll stalk on the steering wheel part

Wiper delay cycle had not completed when shut off.

most winshield wipers have a button release in the middle of each wiper that can be pressed and slid down wards to be removed.

apparently, something inside the wiper motor spun and now it thinks the down position is the up position.

a new wiper motor is my only suggestion since the sensors/controls in these motors arent user serviceable.

your heater core is leaking.. i would reroute the coolant from the heatercore then have it fixed

Check to make sure you are getting power to the wiper motors. Also check relay. Either one could be bad.

Sounds like the wiper motor is shot. You can check for electric voltage at the motor using a meter to make sure it is getting power first.

You need to replace the wiper crank arm that is bolted to the wiper motor. Then you need to bend the tab back up that got bent on the wiper motor bracket that the old crank arm bent. The crank arm has to hit this metal tab so the wipers will park down below the window istead of up.

the most common problem is called the multi-function switch or turn signal switch--replace it----8 out of 10 thats the problem
