Dodge has dual blend door actuators on the air box. you have to pull the dash board assembly out to access the passenger side door actuator. it calls for 5.8 hours to do this job. you also have to evacuate and recharge the ac system.
Same AC issue...cold drivers side, warm passenger side. There was a 20 degree difference at 90 degrees ambient temperature between vent sides. Solution: Dealership checked charge on AC freon, it was low. Recharged system and added die to try and find possible leak. Vent temps on each side are now within 3 degrees difference. Dealership cost to fix $160.00. Best bet is to verify first that the system is charged to specs before dismantling the dash.

It sounds like your electronic vent actuator has gone bad, it's common to go bad and may need to be replaced. There are tinny gears that wear out and the vent actuator stops working. You can try this, turn the radio off first so you don't have to enter the reset code to activate your radio. Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and reconnect it, if the actuator has lost it's base line and stuck in the open heat position, this will reset it, just make sure the setting is to cold and off before disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. If this does not work, then it's a bad actuator and Auto Zone should have the part you need and will have the step by step instructions for you to the job you self, I believe the dealer is a $415,00 repair cost for this. Good luck and keep me posted.

You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator

Vent door between the two sides isn't opening or the flex hose going between the two is off.

there are two a/c lines that run down the fire wall under the van to the rear.right around the bottom of the fire wall the is a connection point on both lines. you will find a leak there .replace the orings and recharge system. also you will need two specail toyota tools to release the couplings.i have done this repair on several sienna's. let me know if this helps.

Two things can be the problem, first, try adding ,a little freon,if it is low,it will only cool one side, then if this does not help, there is a door actuator motor that controls this,it could be not working, the dash has to come out to replace this actuator motor,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.
