There's more than one reason. The time out relay can be timied out all the time ( do the interior lights work correctly?) The main wire from the relay to the window switch is broke ( mosly in the driver door hinge area where the wire flexes inside the rubber tube) Pop the driver switch out of the driver door and test it for power Key on two wires hot key off one wire hot ( display lights in the switch) if the wire is cold find out where it's broke at or the circuit breaker is blown or the main fuse link that powers the circuit beaker is bad burnt or blown. To cheak theres a fuse box on the drivers side under the hood. Don't just open the little door take that whole cover out of there so you can see all the relays and all the fuses. Test lights (
seee) the power and looking at them is a waste of time. once power is all the way to the switch and the window doesn't work and the window will work putting power right on the wires to the motor then you know the switch is bad ask both the dealer and the parts stores for this switch as the cheapest one will work just as well and the dealer might be the low price ( ask them for a discount) they don't let you bring back electrical parts so find the wires good first before you go and buy somrthing. Pros will fit it and not guess wrong ( hopefully)
The switch/ button in the door panel could go bad
