Locate, under the hood, the ac lines going into the firewall, the drain is directly below those ac lines,it will be hard to find, but use a air tank with a blow gun,and blow the drain out,it will pour out like a water fall when it is unclogged. If this was at all helpful, please rate.

Where is the ac drain hose located in 2013 toyota camry

If you can safely raise and support the car, look from the bottom up toward the A/C lines.
There is a Tech Bulletin written for this car, check with your Toyota dealer about the new "insect resistant" evaporator drain tube.
When you get the new tube match it to the old one and if it fits you should be good. I hope this helps. Take care.

Water leaking on floor of 2005 camry AC

Ok well had same problem. The drain hose is blocked and is backing up and coming out of top of drain plug and tube into the car so the tube hanging down in engine bay left side of motor may be blocked with mud dirt or something else so check it and with aircon on if the water is not dripping out of the drain tube then it is blocked

Where is the AC drain plug located

i guess you mean the air box drain for the a/c system.it is on the passenger side under the car were the firewall rolls into the floor board.you should see an L shaped rubber hose that the water runs out this is the drain you can sometimes remove it to clean it out(rubber part)and re-install it.or you can run a wire into it to clean it out(be careful not to damage the evaporator)or use compressed air and gently blow the dirt out of the area.

I hear water swooshing from inside my car

If the swooshing sound is up in the dash area..and you have not lost any coolant.. chances are you have a plugged AC/Defroster system drain hose.

On a hot humid summer day when folks are running the AC you may have noticed puddles of water under your car and others. This is the excess moisture being pulled out of the passenger compartment. It collects and drips out of the drain under the car.

You probably don't have that puddle forming anymore.. the drain is clogged. Next time you have it in for an oil change at a decent shop.. have them locate that hose..give it a blast of air.. to unclog it.. and drain that water..

If the sound is coming from somewhere else.. best to locate it and drain it.. or clean the drain holes..doors etc..

Best of luck!

2002 camry 4 cyc - water in the ac condenser does not drain. Can it be unplugged? How to I get to the condenser?

Hello. Welcome to FixYa. Please allow us to assist you.

The AC condensate drain is accessible from the passenger side of the car. Move the front pass seat back, and pull down the carpeting next to the console and under the dash. You are looking for a black rubber hose, that comes from the bottom of a black plastic box, and then exits thru the firewall. Having a container (a coffee can, or something similar), remove the black hose form the plastic box, and catch the trapped water. After the water stops draining, pull the black rubber hose towards you, and flush out the blockage with a stream of water. Refit the hose and you will be good to go.

Thanks for choosing FIxYa for assistance today.
A 4 thumbs rating would be greatly appreciated.

I have Toyota Camry V4 1997, when I turn on Air condition, after certain time water flowing down in side the car at passenger side below the gloves box How to change the Air cabin filter of my Toyota Camry...

Th efilter is behind the glove box (if it has one) the drain for the a/c evaporator is pluuged. Usually you can have a mechaninc blow air into the hose OR you can poke a small wire up the hose to unglog it. its located at the firewall under the hood at the passengers feet area.

Water collecting in driver side pass. compmnt - AC cndnsr drain?

Clogged AC drain hose.

You can see it by opening the hood and looking towards the back firewall.
Its a short black drain hose and will have a good rust spot under it.
To see it in the car you need to remove you dash. Lower your dash. Remove the screw on the right side and you can pull your dash out. The drain hose is located in the upper left side near the center hub and right near the engine firewall. Its a 6 inch black hose with a few bends and stubs out through a hole into the engine compartment. You can easily pull it out. and stick a short screwdriver up into the drain pan to clean it out.
