The engine light no longer comes on with vsc light
proper fuel being used but :
now:
the vsc light comes on
-first situation .. start car and it idles and no vsc light put it in gear go 500 feet or so and vsc light comes on
-2nd situation ... let car idle for almost any length of time and no vsc light .. its only when we begin to drive forward does the light come on
I'm not sure about the Lexus, but Nissan and other vehicles with the VSC usually will be on until you can drive on a straight road for approximately 2-3 miles without stops and about the same speed during the reset process. The interstate or some type of hwy will reset this light once the vehicle has learned the Vehicle Stabilization Control in which is learned by the way you drive and enables the car to have stable control. Hope this helps out, if this doesn't work, I would take it in for more diagnostics.
