I have a Dak 2000 3.9 Ltr V6, Single Cab, Bare Bones. ... Panic Mode .... ooops....i mean the remote entry and alarm system does NOT work ... i have a 2002 dakata where can i buy a ctm looked all over nobody sell them can thay be rebuilt ... I was out the door $550.00, and they washed the truck also.

how do I stop my trucks alarm from going off when I open the door? it did it ... to thetruck and opened driver door (it was unlocked) and the alarm started going off. ... I do not have a remote unlocking device (or it doesnt work) so I do all .... alarm will go off then I have to use the FOB panic button to shut it off.

you wont fix it take it to a auto electric . unless you got a lot of time . thers a short in harness gonna have to trace each wire ..oh boy oh boy

If it is an after market, you need to have it taken out, but either way, you have to make a choice of whether you want it to keep causing you problems or take it to a reputable Tech and get it fixed.

Well, you can try unplugging the battery for a few minutes and also cycling the key back and forth in the ignition to try and reset the car alarm. I'm thinking that it may need to be jump started though too if the battery is low, as it may not be turning over fast enough. Let me know how this works out for you and what worked and didn't work.

HOW DO I MANUALLY DISABLE THE ALARM FOR A 99 DODGE INTREPID

If it is a factory alarm,then turning the drivers or pass side door lock wtih the key should do it .If not ,then the key cylinder switch probably has come off the back of the cylinder and the door panel will have to come off.

Your GM product has a safety alarm, it shuts down the radio , or locks it.
I send ours to a GM dealer to get it unlocked. They don't give those codes out.
