A loud noise when I turn on the AC and shift it to D or R.

When I turn on the air conditioner on my 2002 town and country, and shift it to drive or reverse I hear a loud noise under the hood, but as I accelerate the noise goes away until I stop again. What could it be the problem?

What kind of noise? If it's like a squeal it is a lose belt. If it's more like a clunk it's the transmission shifting and you just happen to notice it more because of the higher RPM the motor is at with the AC on. Try getting the vehicle moving with out the AC on then turning it on after you are moving to see if you get the same sound. If it's a squeal you have a loose belt that needs replacement or tightening.

What would cause my 1999 town & country not to move in any gear

Make sure that your axles aren't broken. If you have a broken axle the power would transfer to the wheel with the least amount of resistance (to the broken axle) therefore not propelling the vehicle. Also look at your fluid level and condition. It is possible that the transmission is slipping in which case you'd need a transmission/rebuild.

I have a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country van. While driving, the van gave a couple of sudden jerks. Shortly after, a very loud grinding noise and the loss of drive train. Now I have no reverse or forward...

Yes a CV joint could cause it. Look under the car with someone putting it in gear. If any of the shafts are turning it is a joint if not the diff in the transmission is gone. Good luck.

No cold air when ac is on. Loud noise when turned off

If you are not experienced servicing auto air conditioners, take your car to a mechanic. Way too complicated for this type of forum. You MIGHT need a charge of coolant, possibly the control switch went bad, the drive belt broke so the engine can't run the unit but the solenoid is kicking in and out in attempts, or......??

2005 Town & Country stalls when turning the heater on

sounds like the heater is drawing down the battery. Which would be a battery or alternator problem most likely. If not check the amp draw of the blower motor .
