I know, this isn't the ATV forum, but I'm hoping maybe one of the mechanical ... it is a bear , but when she starts I have to keep the throttle pressed.If I turn up the idle so she Idle's about 20 seconds later the Idle Is at about 2000 ...Missing: awd
Disable the EGR valve and test. If issue is resolved you have 3 plugged EGR ports and all the EGR flow is being routed to # 4 cylinder resulting in misfire or the EGR valve is sticking open at times though you probably would not feel a misfire except @ idle & take-off.
Check leads and coil pack. Pull out 3 & 4 plugs one at a time and see if there is spark while idling. Dont do it if you dont know how to do it because there is a risk of severe electrical shock. Also, clean IACV valve. Check the image below to locate it. This will eliminate vacuum issues.
I had this problem also and it turned out to be related to the cold start system. cant remember the part name but it was causing the hesitation problem.
