1997 Toyota Camry, when coming to a stop i feel a slight movement in the brake pedal at the end, i have had the brakes checked and was told that the pads rotors, and calipers are fine, also the ABS light does come on at speeds over 60 but goes off once you stop and drive slow, could the movement be the faulty ABS

This is most dangerous for you. I think that your power brake boost has failed, possibly due to a split vacuum hose. You can test this...
With the engine off, pump the brake pedal hard a few times. Then press down hard on the pedal and start the engine. You should feel the pedal sink perceptibly under your foot.
If this seems OK then your brake pads may be down to the metal on one or more wheels even though you here no noise. Remove the front wheels and have a look, as on p22 here (a later model).

If the pedal feels spongy underfoot, and you can get better brakes by pumping the pedal vigorously, then there is air in the brake system, and it will need to be bled, as on p9

Check your brake fluid if low have your brakes checked. The brake ligh on the dash stays on if fluid is low or if there is a pressure differential (leak).

Although the toyota mechanics could eventually be right, your car is exhibiting all the signs of air in the brake lines. This is especially common after a recent brake job. Some mechanics merely push back the calipers to keep pressure on the brake lines and don't bother to bleed the lines. This works most of the time but the only true way to ensure there's no air in the lines is to bleed them. After having the brakes bled, if you are still having the same issue, I'd say it would be related to the master cylinder but I'd never replace it or any related component without first ruling out air in the lines. Check sway bar linkage.

Its most likely that your brake switch is broken. Look under the dash by the steering column. Run your hand up the brake pedal arm and you will feel a tab that makes the brake lights go on. The tab pushes on the switch to shut off the lights. You will find that the switch is broken, stuck in, or that the wires have come loose from the switch. Good luck...

check your brake fluid, if fluid is low light will come on. the only other time is if the brake pedal looses preasure and then the pedal would be low, also you may what to have brakes checked, when fluid goes low it also means brakes may be low, hope this is helpful.

when the noise is heard, try putting very slight pressure on the brake pedal and see if the noise goes away. If this is the case then definitely the brakes have to be removed and checked again. But if the noise is still present then it's something else doing that noise ans further investigations needs to be carried oput.

Either you did not bleed the brakes properly or they need adjusted. (rear only) Front most likely are disks. If you put pads on the front and spread the caliper pistons, you should pump the brake pedal 10 or 15 times to move the pistons out. Some ABS systems are notoriously hard to bleed.

spongy brake pedal indicates air in the system... have the brakes inspected for leaks as it leaks when you apply the brakes and sucks in air when you release them.
