Need radio code for 02 honda crv, serial #13028929

Look in the glove compartment for a sticker and through the books in the glove compartment for the radio code number.

You will have to get this code from the manufacturer.

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Honda service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

The code is specific to your vehicle and your radio. Go to https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?page=%2Fprod%5Fhome%2Easp and sign your CRV up on the Honda Owner Link. There with the VIN# of your car and the serial # off the radio you can get the 5 digit radio code. Pressing 1 & 6 on the radio give you the serial #.

Only Honda dealers have access to that information, and obviously, they wont release it unless you provide VIN Number, and vehicle ownership proof.

You will need to take the car to a deal and verify you are the rightful owner of the radio as this is the purpose of the code.
Best of it. While at the dealer why not ask about any recalls on your car?

all the codes are different if it is a factory radio and you don't have the code in the owners manual you can go to the dealer with the vehicle and proof of ownership of the car and they will pull the code up for you to unlock the radio it is a theft that's why they need proof of ownership

If the radio has not been changed in the past, then I am almost certain that your local Honda dealaship can help but as always they may charge you. There are auto centres that are equipt to change the radio code and they do charge.
