92 Buick Lesabre cuts out or hesitates on 90+ degree day in stop and go traffic. Acts like a fuel issue.160k miles, new thermostat, water pump, radiator cap.
This happened to mine and it was the fuel pump!
Testimonial: "Thanks Sandy162. I was leaning toward the fuel pump too. It hasn't happened since, but I haven't gotten into the same extreme heat situation since either. I do have an issue with the fuel pump that when I have around a 1/4 tank and I make a hard 360 degree turn to the right up hill it will starve for fuel. I have found that there was a recall on the fuel pump a year or two after the car came out but this one never got replaced. It is on my to do list. Just haven't taken the time to drop the tank yet. "
