Mileage on timing belt, depends on year ? make (volvo) model (c70) and engine size?. heres a couple of mileage readings,the 1998 c70 with a 2.3 turbo engine is due every 70,000 miles. the 1999 -2001 c70 with 2.3 turbo is due every 105,000 miles. the 2002- 2004 c70 with the 2.3 engine is also at 105,000. the 1998 c70 with the 2.4 engine is due every 70,000 miles. the 1999-2001 c70 with the 2.4 engine is due every 105,000 miles. the 2002- 2004 c70 with the 2.4 engine is due every 105,000 miles. god luck hope this helps.
check air filter, spark plug condition, carburator cleanliness and timing belt. Timing may need to be adjusted, especially if timing belt was replaced.
Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific
location of your cabin air filter. Some are found in the engine
compartment and others are located in the interior of your car, under
the dash. Note that some models may have more than one cabin air
filter, so be sure to check both and replace them when needed. We
suggest replacing them in pairs to eliminate the hassle of future
occurrences.
Loosen the box and inspect the cabin air filter
for debris, dirt, leaves and other objects that are obstructing the
path of air entering the cabin.
Remove your old filter, clean the filter box and install a new filter. Secure the box.
Run the A/C systems with the doors closed to verify the repairs.
Remove drivers side underdash sound proofing panel, remove accelerator pedal(yeah I know). Fold carpet back remove three retaining screws from cover, fold cover up. remove filter by moving it out behind brake pedal.
