2002 Chevy Tracker: While unplugging my gps cord from the cigarette lighter, the cigarette liner popped out (the entire cylander that's attached to wiring). At the same time, my radio immediately stopped and my dashboard clock went off. The radio and clock will not turn on. The cig lighter no longer powers up my gps device. Please advise.

Sounds like the hot wire grounded when it came out. Locate the fuse and replace the fuse for that and the radio and everything should come back on.

Cigarette lighter socket came out, no charging

You probably pulled the wiring plug off the back of the socket. Or the fuse went when the socket came out.
