I have a 1999 Ford Expedition and the fluid in the shocks are leaking out. I have ordered some new ones. I am fairly handy with cars but something tells me it's not a matter of removing the air line and replacing the shocks. Do I need to have the vehicle (front) jacked up and go through any procedures to disable the load leveling suspension?

I bought a non air conversion kit from Strutmasters. I love the ride! This air stuff got to be such a hassle for me and my wife. We spent a lot of money on our car and still didn't fix it. Strutmasters was very helpful and we got our kit put on in no time. If you have air on your ride call them. :)

You may want to turn the air suspension off before you go and try to remove the old shocks. Dealing with these air lines and what not can be kind of tricky.
