Are you a professional and familiar with freon? It can be very dangerous if you don't know what your doing! I would recommend an expert to do this.

Hello Friend: Recharging your A/C System:

SAFETY GOOGLES RECOMMENED You don't want this in your Eyes or anywhere Else Really.

To do it yourself you'll find Facing Vehicle with hood open

Look up on the Passenger Sise Fire Wall.

You'll See a Plastic Cover which is your A/C Evasporator Cover. On the Right Side of that Fairly Good Sized Cover .

You'll see 2-Caps 1-will have a (H) on it CAUTION Do not use or even bother that one.

You'll want to Use the one Right Next to It with a(L) on it the (L) is the Low Side or (Suction Side)

Thats the one to Recharge your A/c. Remove the Plastic Cap With the (L) on it.

You'll see a Valve like a Tire Valve Core. Same Thing it lets R-34 Refrigerant in ,but will not let it Out.If the Valve is Good.

Since you Doing This yourself I recommend Strongly that you Buy a R-34 Recharge Kit that Comes with a Gauge.

The R-34 Kit you'll have a Hose on it Leading to a Quick Connect Valve.

Now STOP here a minute Go Start your Vehicle Turn the A/C on High or Maximum Cool, and the Fan Swith on High.

Now Shake the can of R-34 Up Good Turn it Upside Down.

Then with 2-Fingers Pull Back the Quick Connect at the end of the Hose and Fit it Over the LOW SIDE Valve Core.

Now on Top of the R-34 There a T-Handle /or a Knob..

Turn the T-Handle ALL the WAY in Clockwise until it STOPS. It Has now Punchured a Hole in the Top of thje R-34 Can.

Since you already have the Quick Connect on the (L) Side.

Now Turn the Handle on top Counter Clockwise.

Watch the Gauge as your Turning Clockwise.

When you see the Gauge Move towards the GREEN ;

Keep a Close Eye on Gauge Make sure you Don't Pass the GREEN MARK into The RED .Stay in The Green.

If You Have the Needle on the Gauge in the Green Close to the RED BUT DON"T LET the GAUGE GO INTO THe RED !

Keeping Shaking Can during this Recharge Process.

NOW Screw the T-Handle ALL the Way Back Clockwise to Seal the Hole that it Puntured in The R-34 Can Top.

Now Take 2-Fingers and Take the Quick connect Off. Replace the Cap.

Your Done. You Should Have COLD Air inside Unless you Have Other A/C System Problems.

This will Recharge your System if ALL else is Good on It.
Please take time to Vote for the Quality of Help i've given you, And a Testamony would be Appreciated Also.

How much R-12 Freon does a 1990 honda accord require?

charging an ac system by the can is a sure fire way of stuffing it up and blowing hoses
gas is entered by pressure and you need the correct manifold and gauges to get it right
now that you have some in it , take it to an accredited specialist shop and have it topped up properly

2003 accord air conditioner

This is a common problem when the AC system has a low charge.
If this is the case, you have a leak somewhere. Do not try to fix it yourself without the proper equipment.

2003 accord air conditioner

I ad this problem fixed and it cost $35. Apparently, this happens when the Freon level is low for some reason. They refilled the Freon and now I have AC on both sides. Don't forget to replace the internal filter in the glove box.

1998 Honda Accord interior ventilation fan has stopped working.

they are right the air conditioner has nothing to do with the fan running .. your air conditioner is operated by a pressure switch .when it gets low on freon it will not come on, which saves your compressor. your fan only blows the cold air the air conditioner puts in to the coils located inside your dash. which the blower then blows the air into the car.. now you are on the right track look some more you will find the round motor under that dash near the glove box and its held in there with usually 4 small bolts. and removal is easy if you can locate it.. one wire and 4 small bolts and out it comes .. you should be able to get one at a local parts store ..
