2001 Mazda MPV -ES 135,000 miles. Coolant reservoir needs constant filling. Recently had the rear heating/cooling unit water pipe manifold replaced, which was leaking anti-freeze. That is now resolved, but I still need to fill the reservoir constantly. Do I need a new thermostat, or something else?

SOURCE: Mazda MPV Coolant Loss (but no overheat)

i had the same thing on my wifes 2000 mpv van...the ends of the radiator are made of some sort of composite type material....it had a slight crack in it....wasn't obvious until it got worse and started streaming water from it when warmed up....even after it cooled enough not to be spewing it was hard to actually see the crack though a few inches long....was hard to even see where the water and antifreeze mixture was coming from until i took out the radiator

In my new 2001 mazda mpv 2.5 the radiator fill container leaks and steam comes, constantly need to fill it every ten minutes

Get the fill container replaced as soon as possible!! It's an easy job to do yourself.
Drain the coolant, replace the container, refill the system. Run the engine until at working temperature. Turn it off and let it cool down then re-check the coolant level.
If you are running the vehicle with not enough coolant you are basically 'cooking' the engine!
Running an engine 'Too hot' can cause parts to heat to the point where they will weld together causing Expensive damage.
Coolant runs at around 100*C so some steam is expected. If there is a lot of steam get the vehicle to a Good mechanic.

Mazda MPV 1995 Engine over heats after traveling 2 miles. I found out that water/coolant in the radiator leaks. I will highly appreciae your advice.

you will have to fill the cooling system and get all the air out of the system at the same time you can see if you notice a leak anywhere(dripping of liquid)and if so trace were the fluid is leaking out of.once the cooling system is full pressure test the system and see if you see a leak and find were its leaking.once you find whats leaking then you will know what you need to fix it.

I have a Mazda MPV 2001 and it has been overflow coolant coming out from reservoir, I did change the thermerstat, and new water pump, but it still overflow the coolant, when the engine is cold the coolant...

You either have air in the cooling system that needs to be bled out, or you have a head gasket leaking, allowing air to enter the cooling system from the cylinders. You can purchase a kit from most auto parts stores to check for exhaust gases in your coolant system.
