remove radiator no problem, just drain radiator using clean large drain pan.you can buy drain pan at any auto parts stores.just drain radiator remove top radiator support and cooling fan.then remove top and bottom radiator hoses and remove the transmission cooler lines.when replace radiator good time replace all coolant hoses and replace thermostat and radiator pressure cap if good time replace radiator with new coolant.

Not all radiators have a drain plug, if theres a drain plug its located at the bottom of the radiator, depending on the model car or truck it will be locate on the backside of the radiator facing the engine , look on the rightside and then the leftside and in the middle, if this one doesnt have a drain then just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the radiator, sometimes its hard to see the drain so ook closely. good day

well its bound to make a little mess but you should have a drain plug on the radiator at the bottom towards the engine side on one of the 2 tanks (sides of radiator ) unscrew drain plug and let drain into a pail or pan ( 2 gallon ) after it drains remove lower radiator hose. use a garden hose and fill radiator and let it flush for a little, hook lower radiator hose back, tighten drain plug and fill with a 50/50 mix new antifreeze,

Uncap the radiator, and unscrew the radiator drain plug. Normally, this drain plug is located on the inside bottom of the radiator, but models will vary. Once the drain plug is unscrewed, coolant will rush out into the drain pan. If there is not a drain plug, then disconnecting the lower radiator hose will be adequate.

There is a drain on the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side of the radiator to drain the anti-freeze. Remove the radiator cap and loosen the drain plug on the radiator, spray some WD-40 on the drain valve to help get it loose. Drain the radiator, tighten back up the drain plug and refill, should be 1-11/2 gallons.

Should be a drain **** at the bottom of the radiator that unscrews out. It looks like a wing nut has been welded to a bolt on the end of it. Another way to do this is just pull off the bottom hose.

Note: you may be better off disconnecting the lower radiator hose, it's common for the drain plug to break or the O-rings to split causing more work to drain the radiator. That's why most tech's will drain the radiator from the lower radiator hose, less chance of breaking the radiator drain plug and most new cars now don't come with a drain plug to the radiator.

Great news for you, the best way to drain the radiator is to remove the lower radiator hose. The bad news is that OEM radiator came with no drain plug and you can have one put in after you remove the radiator to drill a hole and tap in a $6.00 radiator drain plug for NAPA auto parts. You can remove the lower radiator hose. Since the vehicle is 10 years old you may want to inspect the hoses for replacement anyway.

) Make sure the vehicle is cool.
) Slightly loosen the radiator cap to release any pressure.
