Epc light on new plugs /wires / coil light is still on what is the problem

Miss fire could be spark plugs or coil pack at fault

Computers dont show everything. A data stream using a factory scanner wil pinpoint. Go to private shop that has xperienc using it. Car may just need new plug wires and coil..bad burning effects pollution control. Or injection system is off . A tuneup in other areas can help

epc is electronic power control,meaning problem is related to ecu or incoming and outgoing signals,read error codes please?

Trouble with the running sensors or equipment on the engine. If a crank angle sensor, spark plug, throttle control, coil, fuel injector etc fails to perform correctly, this will trigger the EPC and a code will be stored in the ECU. Have it scanned and read the code/s.

The code for this concern is related to the EPC solenoid in the transaxle.

The wire to the EPC solenoid is a yellow and violet wire.The code indicates that the problem is strictly caused by this solenoid circuit. I would suggest inspecting this wire from the trans to the PCM.If there are no obvious faults, replace the wire with a new wire ,eliminating the faulty circuit. Hope this helped you.

It's located inside the transmission. You must remove the pan and filter to get access to it.

i had the same problem... Change the spark plugs and the ignition coils, All of them... It usually accelerates without giving it gas.. Don't worry about that...

on top of brake pedal there should be a switch. wire going on it, diconect plug turn and remove switch fit new one and reconnect plug

The EPC (Electronic Pedal Control) is the "fly by wire" system that controls the throttle, it took the place of the cable that went from the gas pedal to the throttle body on VW. If this light is on and there is also a P0102, MAF (Mass Air Flow) related code stored in the vehicle's computer, the EPC may be caused indirectly from a faulty MAF. If the EPC is on and there is no other codes stored, it could be a faulty electronic throttle body or need to be re-programmed. The vehicle's computer must recognoze the throttle body so when replacing it with new or used it will need to be programmed at the dealer. Recently I replaced a MAF (a common problem on VW's) on a VW Golf and when I cleared the code the EPC went off as well.

Check the engine codes, and replace or repair the faulty sensor (most likely the MAF sensor).
