Means that it is requesting the code (anti theft) to reactivate the radio. In all probability, the vehicle battery was disconnected and the anti theft tripped.

so how is it that i cant unlock my radio and i have the code and do you know how i could take that off without going into the dealership.

I have read in some other posts here, at Fixya, that after a few tries, the radio will stop receiving code entries. The solution seems to be to disconnect the battery again for 15 min or so, reconnect, and the radio display should be ready to accept the code again. take a look at this answerhttp://www.fixya.com/support/t2747127-ho...

You need the radio code. If you don't have it you will have to bring it to a Honda dealer and they can retrieve the code for you.

I need the radio code to a 2001 Honda accord

You need visit your Honda dealer; this is an unique code for each vehicle, mean SECURITY CODE, so, show the VIN at dealer and they could give this unlock code (sometimes youu need to pay for this service).

Remember, anyone could send this security code from Internet.

I hope helps (remember to rate and comment this).

Radio powers up but only code shows up.

honda have radios that have anithef radio meaning if someone steal the radio it wont work.
anyways the code should be inside the glove compartment look for a white sticker with 5 numbers if not inside look on the side of the compartment.

I cannot get my radio to reset on accord ex 2005. i have the code

I just went thru this with my dealer. As you probably know, to get the correct code, you must have the radio serial number. My Accord EX has the navigation system, so that was the first problem I had to solve. The dealer had a service bulletin to tell me that. The Radio code on a 2005 Accord EX is only 4 digits. His computer showed 5 digits for the code. So he called Honda and the gave him the correct code for my serial number. It had no relationship to the 5 digits obtained from his computer. Nice, huh?
