I have two codes. One is p0441 and the other is p0344. i was curious as to what they pertained too. The car has alot of hesitation at about 2500 rpm no power during acceleration and until the trans shifts to the next gear will it be normal again.

With out see it running on a scanner. Maybe the IAC or throttle body. Does it have any codes. Did you erase codes after rebuild? Any time I do a rebuild on engines and transmission, the codes have to to erased. Other wise you are trying to run a new part on old PCM codes. Codes have to be erased.
vacuum leak, idle set incorrectly, carb float stuck. Just curious, who put a carb on a fuel injected motor? im sure thats alot of problems waiting to happen just in itself. You can't use the electric pump for fuel injection on a carb either, way too much pressure, it will bypass the float and just pour gas out into the manifold.
Dodge Forum stated something about have the PCM reprogrammed may be in order after replacing/getting this code....said there was a tsb for it..NUMBER: 18-015-09
the hessitating could be plugs or HT leads breaking down, a lose connection or even a fuel starvation problem(partial blockage in fuel system) or even dirty fuel. Or damp in HT cap. there could even be a blockage in the pipe that runs between the air filter and the inlet manifold, condensation builds up in the pipe and gets sucked into the pistons causing a misfire and will go away as quickly as it starts. I suggest checking all the air pipes for blockages, renewing plugs, leads and cap. also put some fuel system cleaner through. I tend to do all in turn and start with the cheapest options.
The PO441 has to do with your HO2S 2 (Oxygen sensor). You need to check to make sure the wire is not off of the sensor and check the grounds to the Oxygen sensor. Could be a bad Oxygen Sensor. The other code has to do with your Evap system Purge solenoid circuit. Has to do with detecting an improper voltage level. Could be a shorted Purge solenoid.
