In the boot and underneath everything, you have to remove all the fittings for the tools, etc and then its located under a plate, you will see the wiring for it though. battery is under a cover in the trunk of the vehicle. The terminals are on the battery, and the battery is located underneath the back seat.

The battery in my 2007 Lucerne is under the rear seat. Just pull up hard on the fornt of the rear seat bottom.

I believe it is located under the front seat. To access it, locate the trim panel at the base of the seat. Remove it carefully and you'll see the front seat attachment bolts. Remove the bolts and tip the seat back. You'll then see the battery cover and you'll have access to the battery.

On my E34 525 (95) the battery is located under the rear seats... Hope this helps..
