It is a actuator motor on the inside of the dash ,mounted on the blower box,the dash will have to be removed to replace it.The actuator motor controls the temp door, and it is not moving the temp door.If this was helpful,at all, please rate, and thank you.
Check the operation of the blend door in the ductwork. This door diverts airflow either across the heater core (for hot air) or a/c evaporator (for cold air) or a blend of the two to obtain a specified temperature. When you adjust the temperature control knob on the climate control panel, it responds by moving the blend door, directing air flow accordingly.
